NEW L'Oreal's Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara

L'Oreal's new Double Extend Eye Illuminator looks interesting!  Here's what it claims from site:

"Eye Illuminator for All Eyes
  • Lengthens
  • Illuminates
L'Oreal introduces new Double Extend® Eye Illuminator, a two-step lengthening mascara professionally developed to illuminate your eyes.
Step 1: Lengthen & Intensify: Black mascara infused with a hint of color adds volume and length to lashes while intensifying eyes.
Step 2: Illuminate: The illuminating top coat infused with light-reflecting pearls highlights your eye color with our exclusive sphere tip brush.
  • Clump-free & Flake and Smudge Resistant
  • Ophthalmologist Tested; Safe for Sensitive Eyes and Contact Lens Wearers"
It has two ends (which reminds me of the Maybelline XXL Series), and one end has the wand that's very similar to the very popular L'Oreal Telescopic wand.  Furthermore, they add in the custom eye thing (which I am really wondering if it would illuminate a certain color eye with mascara).  So basically, they are pulling all the tricks here!  The question is, does it work?  What do I mean by that?  Does it light reflect as it claims?  Does it really compliment and bring out your eye color?  Does it give you the length that Telescopic Mascara does?  What's curious is that this has been out for a little while now, and no one seems to be talking about it.  I wonder why?

It is about $10-11, not cheap for a drugstore mascara.  So I will only be getting those if they go on sale.  It  comes in 4 colors-Black Copper for Blue Eyes, Black Quartz for Brown Eyes, Black Bronze for Green/Hazel Eyes, and Black Crystal for All Eyes.

What do you think?
