Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette Swatches

I went into Sephora, and saw this pallete.   I thought the Anastasia palettes are only sold at ulta but now it's here in sephoras too!  Well it's better for me because I don't live close by an ulta here in New York City!

I saw the Tamanna Palette and instantly fell in love with the shades.  Just from swatching with no primer at the store, the shades are gorgeous but not as pigmented as urban decay.  They are still excellent but it does take 2 swatches to build up the intensity.

The price is definitely right though at $29 and the design of the palette is beautiful too.  It very much reflects mua Tamanna aka @dressyourface on instagram.

The shades are a mix of mattes and shimmers.  You have neutrals and colors to work with.  And they are indeed very fall appropriate shades.

Will you be picking this up?  Let me know!

Xoxo

Wet n Wild High Wasted Jeans Tutorial (Fall Collection)

I posted yesterday the look from the Wet n Wild Angels in Aubergine Palette from the Fall Collection.  Check out the post HERE!
Wet n Wild High Wasted Jeans palette from the fall collection is another great palette.  Wet n Wild has come out with something like this in the past already, but I still love it.

As I mentioned in my video, the Base color is the winning shade and it is super pigmented.  I did apply that shade all over the lid and then layered different shades of blue all over the lid.

Also the key to pulling this look here is the blue liner.  I used my fave BH Party Girl Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil for this look. Here's a link if you are interested in the liner: http://tiny.cc/vbidcx

Click here and the video will start exactly where this tutorial is: http://youtu.be/DWNJRx8vj4E?t=1m50s
But of course, I would love it if you would watch the entire video with all four looks!  More looks coming up in the next posts!

Wet n Wild Angels in Aubergine Palette Tutorial (Fall Collection)

OK so I was going to post all four looks I created into one post!  But then I was like, well let me just put one up and a video tutorial to go with it!

This is probably one of my fave looks out of all four of the Wet n Wild Fall Collection Palette -Angels in Aubergine.

When I first looked at the palette and saw the pink, I was like, there is no way I can work this crazy pink.

Well it turned out to look quite good and quite wearable as well!  The combination of the colors are perfect for the fall as well!  It is definitely a more dramatic look so you may want to wear this for the evening!

But of course, I would love it if you would watch the entire video with all four looks!  More looks coming up in the next posts!

Wet n Wild Fall Megalast Matte Lipsticks Swatches! (Limited Edition)

I ain't going to lie to ya, but these Wet n Wild Fall Limited Edition Megalast Matte Lipsticks are to die for!!  Every single shade is a winner!  And best yet, they only cost $1.99!

We have from left to right Sweet Cream, Urban Night, Bordeaux Boulevard and Sunset Siren

Here we have some lip swatches for you!  These colors are absolutely perfect for the fall!

The first one is Bordeaux Boulevard.  It's a deep purple plum color, absolutely gorgeous!  I think this color may very well be my most favorite!

This one is Urban Night!  It's almost a burgundy red!  It's quite lovely!

Sunset Sire is my favorite kind of red because it is orange red, which is the most flattering kind of red of people with my skin tone!  It is perfection!

Last but not least, we have Sweet Cream, which is the perfect Kylie Jenner Lips seriously!  The pigmentation is awesome and it covers my already stained red lips from my other swatches.  Usually nude colors can be sheer but this one has complete coverage.  I am very impressed indeed.

Overall, I give these lippies A+ because of the choice of colors, pigmentation, and also longevity of wear!  They don't get too dried on my lips too.  They are matte, but just a tiny hint of cream feel and finish, which to me is the best!

Be sure to stay tuned here for my upcoming posts and coverage on the Wet n Wild Fall Collection!  Follow me here on bloglovin' to never miss a post!

#NYFW Stila, Phyto & T3 Tools, Boots & Julep at Trina Turk

Welcome back to more Fashion Week Coverage!  We have some great photos from the Trina Turk Spring 2015 Presentation at Lincoln Center for you today!  I stopped by the backstage and loved what I saw!  The inspiration?  A girl going to a flower market. California healthy & fresh ease.

Skincare: Jason Araujo for Beauty.com using Boots
·         Boots NO7 Quick Thinking Wipes
·         Boots NO7 Silky Leg Oil

Hair: Esther Langham for Beauty.com using PHYTO & T3 Tools

GET THE LOOK: HAIR

·         Apply PHYTO Professional Intense Volume Mousse on wet hair and work back into the roots. Then, apply the PHYTO Phytovolume Actif Volumizing Spray from the middle of the hair down to the tips

·          Section the hair off at the nape of the neck and using a medium round brush from T3, blow dry the hair back with the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i

·         Once each section is dry, set the hair by pinning it up. This will also help to keep volume in the hair. The goal is to achieve volume, smoothness & bounce (use the T3 SinglePass Straightening & Styling Iron for wavy or curly hair)

·         After taking the clips out, finish the look by applying PHYTO Professional Glossing Cream onto the roots and the PHYTO Phytolisse Ultra-Glossing Finishing Serum through the hair to the ends
·         Part the hair in the center and carefully secure a wide hair band at the crown

·         Finish with PHYTO PROFESSIONAL Workable Holding Spray to hold in place

For Makeup, it was an easy and simple look only using a few makeup products by Stila:

Eyes;
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Smudge Stick in Turquoise a
Mile High Lashes Mascara
Stay All Day Waterproof brow color

For lips:
Stay All Day liquid lipstick in Carina

Cheeks:
Conventible Color Cream in camellia

Face:
Stay All Day 10 in 1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm spf 30

And here's the presentation:
