#NYFW Too Faced Cosmetics, Alterna Haircare, T3 Tools, Arcona - Creatures of Comfort

My New York Fashion Week Coverage Continues.  I went to Creatures of Comfort Show, and saw some awesome beauty backstage.  While the makeup look is natural and sun kissed, the hair evokes an effortless, modern look with an emphasis on different textures.

PREP THE SKIN FIRST

GET THE LOOK : MAKEUP

Apply Too Faced Endless Summer 16+ Hour Long-Wear Bronzer for a sunkissed look 

Use Too Faced Bulletproof Brows 24-hour Waterproof Cashmere Clay & Brush to highlight brows and make them a focal point

To set and hold brows, use Too Faced Brow Envy – Brow Shaping & Definining Kit

 

Apply Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream in Divine Wine higher on the cheek bones and above the brow to continue creating a sunkissed look while adding color

Use Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Blush on cheeks and around the face to add a finishing touch

GET THE LOOK: HAIR

On damp hair, apply the Alterna Bamboo Volume 48-Hour Sustainable Volume Spray to the roots and comb it through the hair with a large comb 

Rough dry hair with the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i dryer, using only your hands 

Once hair is dried, apply the Alterna Bamboo Style FreeStyle Flexible Control Gel from the front of the hairline, directly above the forehead, to the back of the head until the hair sits flat on the head with a wet look

Brush the gel through using a wide tooth comb, and create a center or side part, depending on where your natural part lies 

Gather the sections of the bottom hair that are not gelled, and loosely wrap them in random sections around the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand--3/4" barrel using your fingers to break up the curls as needed 

To finish, apply a small amount of the Alterna Bamboo Shine Silk-Sleek Brilliance Cream to the bottom portion of the hair to create a slightly piece-y look 

To create even more separation and shine, spray the Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Micro Mist throughout

 Here I am took a picture of me using the same lipgloss on a different day.  You can see that the color is just so slightly different.  It's a little less pink.  (By the way, I think I am going to do a variation of this look for you guys for Valentine's Day Look)
