DIY Cute Valentine Card For Your Sweetheart




Normally I don't post my daily vlog videos on my beauty blog (but please subscribe anyway http://www.youtube.com/user/WingIsFun), but this one is worth seeing with Valentine's Day coming up!

While staying at the Linden Tree Inn (http://www.lindentreeinn.com/), we did some fun craft with the owner Tobey (http://www.amusestudio.com/tobey). She will show you how to make an amazing DIY easy Valentine card! See directions below:

Hi,
Tobey Shepherd here (www.amusestudio.com/tobey), I am an a muse|studio
consultant, bringing you a demonstration on making a cute little
valentine card, for your sweetheart of BFF!

Supplies:
All supplies available through a muse|studio main catalog
Stamps: Sweet Love
Cardstock: Sugar, Bubblegum and Sweetheart Bubblegum
Ink: Versafine Onyx
Marker: Tombow Watercolor Marker 703
Ribbon: Sugar Satin ribbon
Heart Twinkle stickers
Diamond Glitter
Quickie Glue Pen
3D foam adhesive
Tombow permanent adhesive tape runner
Acrylic blocks 2 /14 inch X 2 1/4 inch and 3 ½ inch X 2 inch
Paper cutter
Score board
Scissors

Cut 1 piece of bubblegum cardstock 3 ½ inches by 10 inches for card base
Cut 1 piece of bubblegum cardstock 1 3/4 inches X 2 ½ inches for layer number 2
Cute 1 piece of sweetheart bubblegum cardstock 2 3/4 inches X 4 1/4 inches for layer number 1
Cut 1 piece of sugar cardstock 1 ½ inches X 2 1/4 inches for layer number 3

Stamp gumball machine on sugar cardstock using Versafine Onyx ink
Using Tombow marker 703, color in the gumball machine accents, heart in center of gumballs and some random gumballs
Cut around the outside of the gumball machine, close to the edge.
Create border around outside of sweetheart bubblegum cardstock using Tombow marker 703
Using
Quickie glue pen, glue around the outside edge of bubblegum layer and
apply diamond glitter, shake off excess. Using quickie glue pen apply
glue to random gumballs in gumball machine and apply diamond glitter.
Assemble
card: apply adhesive to back of sweetheart bubblegum cardstock using
Tombow adhesive, and center on the bubblegum card base.
Apply 2 small 3 D foam dots to back of layer number 2 and center on the sweetheart bubblegum layer
Apply
Tombow adhesive to back of sugar layer number 3 and affix to center of
layer number 2. Use larger 3 D foam dot on back of gum ball machine and
affix to center of layer number 3.
Cut bubblegum twinkle heart stickers apart, and apply to card as shown.
Stamp You Are One of a Kind at bottom of car, on Bubblegum card base using Versafine Onyx Ink.
Tie Sugar Satin ribbon around top of card using double knot. Cut ends.
