The Fat Burning Diet is also known as the Scared Heart Diet. The diet is used by the cardiology department of the Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital for overweight patients who must lose weight rapidly and safely.
This diet is fast, fat burning and the secret is that you run more calories than you taken in. It will flush your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well being.
The diet centers of the daily consumption of all easy to make Basic Fat burning Soup made of vegetables and powdered stock cubes. The Basic Fat Burning Soup can be eaten any time you feel hungry. Eat as much as you like REMEMBER the more you eat of this soup, the more you will lose.
Here's a list of food that you cannot eat: Alcoholic drinks because it interferes with he removal of the fat build up in your system. Wait at least 24 hours after any intake of alcohol before starting the diet. Also no carbonated beverages including diet sodas. Drink only water, unsweetened tea, black coffee, unsweetened fruit juice and skimmed milk. No fried foods, break or any products made of flour and no sugar or any sweeteners of any kind.
When the diet calls for beef you may substitute chicken as long as it is boiled or baked and skinless. You can substitute fish for one of the beef days.
Basic Fat Burning Soup:
6 Large Onions
1 Crown of celery
1 lettuce
2 stock cubes
2 large green bail peppers
2 tins of whole tomatoes
1 packet of dried soup mix (no cream of noodles)
Cut the veggies into small or medium pieces and put into a large pan with tomatoes, soup mix and stock cubes. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes then lower the heat and summer for at least an hour.
Seven Day Fat Burning Diet:
DAY 1- Eat only the fat burning soup and fruits. You can eat an fruit EXCEPT BANANAS. Cantaloupe and water melons are lower in calories than most fruits and therefor especially recommended. Remember drink only unsweetened fruit juice or water.
Day 2- IT's an all veggie day. Eat only the basic fat burning soup with additional fresh or canned vegetables until you are stuffed. Eat the veggies raw, steamed or braised on the broth from the soup, but undo not cook or season them with any butter or oil. Try to eat green leafy vegetables with the soup. At dinner time, you can rewards yourself with a big baked potato and a little butter or olive oil if you like. DO NOT EAT ANY FRUIT TODAY.
Day 3 - Today is a consolidation of the first two days. Eat the basic fat burning soup and fruits EXCEPT BANANAS and begins you want. Do not have a baked potato.
Progress after three days
IF you have eaten for three days as directed above and not cheated, you will find that you have lost 5-7 pounds.
Day 4 - Eat only the fat burning soup and bananas and drink skimmed milk and water. Eat as many as 3 bananas, drink 4 2oz glasses of skimmed milk and drink as much water as you like. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates and potassium, proteins and calcium to lessen the craving for sweets.
Day 5 - Today is beef and tomato day. You ay have 10-20 ounces of lean beef (or chicken without skin or fish) and a 25 ounce can of whole tomatoes or as many as6 fresh tomatoes. Try to drink 6-8 glasses of water to wash away the uric acid in your body. Eat the fat burning soup at least once today.
Day 6 - Now it's beef and veggies day. East to your heart's content all the beef and veggies you want today. You can have 2-3 steaks if you like with leafy green vegetables but no baked potato. Eat the fat burning soup at least once today.
Day 7- Eat only brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables. Again stuff yourself. be sure to eat the fat burning soup at least once today.
Progress after seven days:
After the end of the 7th day and if you have not cheated you will lose between 10 -17 pounds. IF you have lost more than 15 pounds, stay off the diet for two full days, returning to the diet from day 1. This seven day diet can be used as often as you like. AS a matter of fact if correctly followed the diet will clean your system of impurities and give a feeling of well being as never before.
